Bill Ziegler is a private venture capital investor and a director of several companies in numerous industries. Mr. Ziegler is Chairman of Shera International, Geokinetics Inc., iForce Group Ltd., Somerset Gas Transmission, Somerset Production Company, Tablologix International Ltd., Union Drilling Investors LLC and Windstream Energy LLC . He also holds directorships in American Coradius,Inc., La Crosse Milling Company and SpeechCycle Inc. In addition, he has practiced law since 1968 and has been of counsel to the law firm of Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke LLP since 2001. Mr. Ziegler holds a BA degree in Economics from Amherst College, an MBA degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, and an LLB degree from the University of Virginia Law School. He has been Chairman of Vesta since 1996.

H. Eugene Lockhart

Gene Lockhart has been a venture partner with Oak Investment Partners since January 2003 and is Chairman of Diamond Castle’s Financial Institutions investment practice. Previously, he served in a variety of senior executive roles at various organizations, including President and Chief Executive Officer of MasterCard International, Chief Executive Officer of Midland Bank plc, President of the Global Retail Bank of Bank of America. and President of Consumer Services at AT&T. Mr. Lockhart serves as director of several public and private companies including NetSpend and RadioShack among others. Mr. Lockhart holds a BS degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA degree from The Darden School at the University of Virginia. He has been a director of Vesta since 2003.

Mark McLaughlin has served as President and CEO of Palo Alto Networks since August of 2011. Prior to this, he served as President and CEO and as a Director of VeriSign. He has also served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Signio, a leading Internet payment company, and was instrumental in the negotiation and acquisition of Signio by VeriSign in 1999. Before joining Signio, he was the Vice President of Business Development for Gemplus, the world’s leading smart-card company. Mr. McLaughlin was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee in January 2011. He is currently a member of the TechNet Executive Council, a bipartisan network of CEOs that promotes the growth of the innovation economy. Mr. McLaughlin received a JD degree from Seattle University School of Law and a BS degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He has been a director of Vesta since 1999.

Patrick S. Jones

Pat Jones currently sits on the boards of several leading public and private international companies. His public company boards include Novell, a leading enterprise infrastructure software provider; Lattice Semiconductor, a fabless semiconductor company; Openwave Systems, a telecom infrastructure software provider; Epocrates, a provider of pharmaceutical reference information to doctors; and Fluidigm, a maker of integrated fluid circuits for use in genotyping and gene sequencing. His European private company boards include InsideSecure, a contactless smart card manufacturer; and Sagem Wireless, a leading handset manufacturer. From 1998-2001, he was the Senior Vice President-Chief Financial Officer of Gemplus SA. Prior to Gemplus, he served as Intel Corp’s Vice President of Finance-Corporate Controller from 1992–1998 during a period of phenomenal growth from $8 billion to over $25 billion in revenues. Mr. Jones holds a BA degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA degree from St Louis University. He has been a director of Vesta since 2009.
