About the Job
Vesta is seeking to leverage the state of the art call centers and technology infrastructure that it has developed for its telecommunications industry clients for applications in other industries. This Business Development Consultant will sell outsourcing and call center services to potential customers whose needs are complementary to those of Vesta’s core customer base. We are looking for a professional that can hunt down new business and independently close on it.
The successful candidate would be selling a full suite of customer care and response management services to new clients. These services could potentially include:
Sales Support Services:
- Inbound Response Management
- Sales Lead Management
- Sales Channel Support Services
- Market Research
B2B & B2C Care Services:
- Customer Service
- Consumer Affairs
- Technical Support
- Pre-Collect Recovery
Job Duties
- Manage the sales process from prospecting to closure focusing on new business with new clients. This is not an account management position.
- Discover customers that our two call centers, one in Portland, Oregon and one in Dundalk, Ireland can support in a manner complementary to our existing business.
- Display a strong ability to work comfortably with senior executives and display the ability to develop relationships at all levels.
- Identify client business needs and design practical solutions that meet the needs of prospects. Drive new sales for live agent and fulfillment services to produce in-year revenue and fill pipeline for future growth.
- Responsible for all aspects of new business generation unlimited by specific geographic and vertical segmentations.
- Work effectively with multiple internal teams to negotiate delivery/service level agreements.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience selling outsourced contact center services
- Existing and established business contacts in the market will be required
- Experience in a senior level client-facing role (Sales/Consulting)
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership closing complex onshore/offshore outsourced deals in excess of $5M quota annually
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with executives
- Persuasive oral and written communicator with good listening skills
- Sense of urgency and impatience with the status quo
- Ability to work within a dynamic organization remotely
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for closing multi-year profitable contracts.
- Ability to articulate the high-level value proposition of outsourcing and managed services. Capability to comprehend new solutions and acquire new skills in assessing business requirements and translating them into client-specific solutions.
- Negotiate and price new initiatives for the client, including contract negotiation, resolution of any and all contractual issues and needs for the client, and oversight of statement of work development.
- Ability to solution-sell inside a specific marketplace as gained through strong past experience.
Compensation
Outstanding commission based on revenue produced.
