IT Network Services Manager
About the Job
The IT Network Services Manager supervises network engineers providing leadership, vision and direction for information systems and information technology. This person will ensure that our systems and technology enable the business and its processes, while maintaining serviceable, highly available cost effective solutions.
Technical Leadership
Provides hands on 24/7 support to global network and telecommunications infrastructure including WAN/LAN/, etc.
Develop and articulate a strategic vision for network and telecommunications infrastructure including architecture, technologies, costs, and support model.
Establishes, implements, and ensures compliance with network, telecommunications, and security standards and policies.
Monitors and provides capacity planning including metrics for network and telecommunications infrastructure.
Leads and/or manages the network team, providing support for current and future business requirements.
Administrative and Team Leadership
Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
Team management including:
– Recruits, coaches, and develops organizational talent.
– Assigns work tasks and monitors performance.
– Consistently reviews and evaluations performance.
– Provides recommendations on compensation, promotion, and termination.
– Coordinates across functional areas, business units, and/or geographies to achieve company or area goals.
Keeps the organizations vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action.
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ensures daily operational integrity of network services to include User Services (E-Mail, Blackberry services, VPN services and partner networks), and Operations (Network, Servers, Security and Hardware Inventory).
Skills and Knowledge
Knowledge and experience in the following areas is required:
Bachelor degree. Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Engineering preferred or equivalent technical certifications and experience (Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCNA (CCNP desired).
10+ years of related professional experience in IS Infrastructure and/or Information Systems Management, specifically managing large, complex information systems and technical personnel.
Experience and a comprehensive knowledge of networks, telecommunications, and data security with a focus on payment processing and corporate networks.
Ability to successfully manage and execute multiple, large scale projects using established project management tools and processes.
Excellent written and verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining highly collaborative, flexible, and productive cross-organization teams in a fast paced environment.

Cisco Router and switch platforms (CatOS and IOS)
Microsoft Windows Server (2000-2003)
Microsoft Internet Information Server (6.x-7.x)
Microsoft DHCP, WINS Server
Microsoft SQL Server 2005
VMWare
TCP/IP Concepts, Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, and floating static), and troubleshooting
