Marketing Coordinator (Intern)

About the Job

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position has responsibility for executing marketing activities to drive revenue growth for Point & Pay, a Vesta subsidiary focused on government and utility bill payments. Responsibilities will include defining marketing plans, and engaging with external customers, internal stakeholders and vendors to execute the activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work with key P&P accounts to generate awareness of service, including public relations, bill inserts, direct mail and other joint marketing activities.
Identify opportunities to grow business with existing accounts through expanding payment channels, types of payment methods offered, new services, etc.
Manage e-mail-based marketing programs targeted to prospective customers
Develop testimonials with key accounts
Analyze effectiveness of marketing activities, and make recommendations to optimize results

Education and/or Experience

A solid understanding and hands-on experience developing effective marketing campaigns
Enrolled in BA/BS degree in a complementary discipline.
Excellent computer skills, oral and written communication skills.
Detailed oriented, and ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment.

The Marketing Coordinator (Intern) is based in Portland, Oregon. This will be a 3-4 month position with flexible hours. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
