Sales Executive
Point and Pay, Inc., a Vesta subsidiary, enables governments and utilities to accept electronic payments from consumers and businesses for taxes, registrations, licenses, services and fees using credit/debit cards or electronic checks anytime, anywhere via the Web, phone, or service counter terminal.
Key Responsibilities
Point & Pay is seeking a Sales Executive for our West Coast region.
- Call on prospective customers in person and provide information and/or demonstrate company product
- Work with potential clients to negotiate contract terms and close sales
- Quote prices, prepare proposals and provide information regarding terms of sales and implementation dates
- Receive requests for proposals and applications and determine course of action in accordance with company standards
- Utilize business financial knowledge, execute competitive sales tactics, and make compelling presentations of products and services to effectively persuade and frame client opportunities
- Represent company at conferences, meetings, exhibits, and other special events; promote new and existing programs and initiatives
- Track sales activities using salesforce.com
- Provide a presentable, respectable, and positive public face for Vesta
- Travel as required
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors' Degree or equivalent
- Three to five years of sales experience
- Experience in state, county, and municipal government convenience payments preferred
- Proven success at meeting sales targets from a home-office environment
- Excellent leadership, communication, relationship-building, negotiation and problem-resolution skills
- Ability to work in a creative, fast-paced, dynamic company
- Expertise in sales techniques, product knowledge, procedures and administration
- Well-developed time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate with minimal direction
- Knowledge of market research and sales forecasting principles and methodologies
- Appreciation for the operational components of back office processes and services and how they come together to ensure successful sales efforts
- Experience and comfort in cold calling/prospecting
- Comfort in demonstrating products using web-based technologies
